FAQs
What is this study?
- This is a study of the fundamental principles that underlie
the Torah, according to a traditional Jewish understanding as
has come down to us from Mt. Sinai.
Why are you doing this?
- There is lack of teaching/understanding of these key
fundamentals. This results in confusion and error. The student
will achieve a better understanding of the Torah and related
scriptural texts.
Does this have anything to do with the "New
Testament?"
- Readers of the "New Testament" will have their understanding
of it radically altered - for the better - as they attain the
ability to connect the NT teachings to the principles of Torah
as they were understood by the Jews who wrote the NT.
Is this a "messianic" study?
- This study will redefine that very question for everyone!
Where and when will I find the study on
PalTalk?
- Bzrat Hashem, the study will begin on Wednesday, October
7th, 2009.
- Go to the Religion/Spirituality Section
- Enter the Christianity Section
- Find the room called "Derech Hashem Study"
- It will be every Wednesday night from 9:00 to about 10:30
eastern time.
Why are you in the Christianity Section of
PalTalk?
- We are there because that is the high traffic area and many
people in that section are seeking to learn more about Torah.
The study course is taught from a traditional Jewish
perspective.
Will you have a
discussion board and blog for this?
- We will have those on Facebook. Type "Derech Hashem"
in the Facebook search box and you will find our page fairly
easily.
