Galut to Geulah: Moshiach ben Yosef
and Moshiach ben David
If Israel will do Teshuvah (repentance), it will not need Moshiach ben
Yosef, immediately Moshiach ben David will come with clouds of heaven.
Moshiach ben Yosef comes with the "Vav" in Hashem's Name, which is the
level of Mosheh (Zeir Anpin - Written Torah) but is not revealed until
the concealment of the soul of Mosheh in Galut (exile). This is the
process of Gadlut in Chesed which is Da'at.
Moshiach ben David comes with the final "Hey" in HaShem's Name, which is
the level of Angel Metatr-n (Malchut - Oral Torah) but is not revealed
until the revelation of the soul of Mosheh in Geulah (redemption). This
is the process of Gadlut in Binah which is Chochmah.
This is why at the Pesach seder when Eliyahu finally arrives, the third
cup which is the "Vav" in HaShem's Name has already been drunk and we
reach Geulah (redemption) from in the fourth cup.
When Malchut enters into Binah, it is missing one Sefirah, so the
existing 9 Sefirot is in Hitkolelut (inclusion) with Malchut of Binah.
However, Malchut is hidden in Rosh Atik (head of the Partzuf “Ancient”).
Now Malchut is divided into two Partzufim (personifications of G-d's
Essence); which is Leah above Chazeh (hidden) and Rachel below Chazeh
(revealed). Out of Leah comes Yehudah (Moshiach ben David) and out of
Rachel comes Yosef (Moshiach ben Yosef). The roles are flipped in this
stage, the revealed is concealed and the concealed is revealed.
Malchut Leah above Chazeh has 10 Sefirot and Malchut Rachel Chazeh has 9
Sefirot without the Malchut that ends in Yesod. This is why there is
conflict between Moshiach ben Yosef and Moshiach ben David in relation
to the final Geulah, because ben David will rule in perfection where
complete Zivug (coupling) is possible, where his Light is perfect.
Moshiach ben Yosef, whose Light is perfect in the potential, is
concealed, but is revealed in the concealment of the soul of Mosheh,
because he is actually concealing the hidden world where Moshiach ben
David is waiting. In order for Moshiach ben Yosef to do Teshuvah and
Tikkun in order to reveal Moshiach ben David, he must make Teshuvot and
Tikkunim (corrections) in Malchut Rachel below Chazeh, therefore from
Moshiach ben Yosef does his Light spread upwards from below but the
Light will not yet shine from above downwards from Moshiach ben David in
Malchut Leah above Chazeh. Here the roles are in their respective places
at this stage. Therefore Rachel weeps and Leah cannot give praise until
Israel does Teshuvah and Tikkun.
This is derived from the conflict between David (son of Leah) and Shaul
(son of Rachel). In every generation there are components of these
souls, which this conflict is born out of the two opposite Malchuyot.
However, Malchut Leah above Chazeh will gradually do Teshuvot and
Tikkunim despite the missing Sefirah in Malchut de’Malchut of Rachel,
which will assist Malchut Rachel below Chazeh to do Teshuvah and Tikkun.
Both Moshiachim have no power to redeem Israel from Galut, this is why
the Mekubalim (Kabbalists) told us that the period of this Galut will be
long and grueling. It will not be possible until Israel itself does
Teshuvah and Tikkun. This will only hold true if the letter “Hey” in
Mosheh’s name is not revealed, which is the final “Hey” of HaShem’s
Name. Since Mosheh also comes out of Leah (Levi), the Tikkunim must be
also done from Malchut Leah above Chazeh, since both are incomplete in
this respect. Both Malchut Leah above Chazeh and Malchut Rachel below
Chazeh must unify until the filling of the Kelim (vessels) form a
complete Partzuf, which is 10 Sefirot appearing in both which will
ascend to Eyn Sof.
This is the “Hey” in Abraham’s name, which filled him as Abram, which is
Malchut corrected by Binah, Hey Zeirah (minor Hey), in order to
gradually correct and clarify the Holy Names of HaShem. Once all the
Holy Names of HaShem are revealed in Malchut and corrected by Binah in
Malchut of the second Tzitzum, the Hitkolelut (inclusion) of Malchut in
Binah is annulled, and the “Hey” of Abraham will be revealed which will
reveal the “Hey” of Mosheh’s name in complete fullness.
The “Hey” of Abraham's name, the Malchut of the second Tzimtzum rules
for the 6,000 years of Tikkunim, then the “Hey” of Mosheh's name, the
Malchut of the first Tzimtzum is revealed. However, if the “Hey” of
Abraham, which is Israel and the Nations, does not clarify all the holy
Names of HaShem and does not do all the necessary Teshuvot and Tikkunim,
it will postpone the revelation of the “Hey” in Mosheh's name, which is
hidden in Rosh Atik, thus postponing the final Geulah.
As soon as Leah and Rachel reconcile, the unification of the Moshiachim
will ignite the final Geulah of Israel from the Klipot of the Erev Rav,
which has held us under this Galut. This is precisely why it was
forbidden for Adam and Chavah to eat from the Eytz Da’at de’Tov ve’Ra
(Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil), because of the evil that existed
within it. This is what provoked the destruction of the first and second
Temples. Once the Erev Rav, the chametz of Pesach (leaven of Passover)
are removed from Israel, immediately the endless river of Zeir Anpin
which flows from Gan Eden (Garden of Eden) will be filled and will
irrigate the entire Gan Eden, which is Malchut with completely Partzufim.
"Two shooting stars will appear in the sky," Moshiach is
in them. One comes from the earth to the sky, the other from the sky to
the earth, coming and going each night. Two Moshiachim will come out,
riding on a donkey, and they will connect because of their Devekut
(adhesion) and equivalence of form, thus they are one Moshiach.
Therefore Israel, who is Moshiach, will be revealed in its final
Teshuvah and final Tikun and will then usher in the Geulah. But this
cannot be accomplished without the Teshuvot and Tikkunim of Israel, and
until then this Galut will continue. Moshiach ben Yosef will remain
concealed until the soul of Mosheh is revealed to bring Geulah, thus
Moshiach ben David will remain concealed until Moshiach ben Yosef is
